РусскийJapanese pianist Takahiro Akiba to give concert in Moscow
On September 23, 2015, Japanese pianist Takahiro Akiba will give a concert at the ceremonies hall of the Armenian Church in Moscow. The concert is organized with the support of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Russian Federation and the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Russia and Nor Nakhichevan.
This will be the pianist’s second concert within the framework of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide following the first concert, which was held with the title “In the Land of Komitas” in Yerevan on May 4 and was the pianist’s way of expressing his love for and appreciation of Armenia and the Armenian people.
The program will include performances of the works of Komitas, Arno Babajanyan and Alexander Harutyunyan.
