Europe needs to stop supporting terrorists, if it wants to solve the refugee issue. As reports “Armenpress”, this is what President of Syria Bashar al-Assad declared in an interview with leading Russian mass media outlets.

“The question is not whether Europe receives refugees or not, but the need to eliminate the main causes of the issue. If the Europeans are concerned about the destiny of the refugees, then they should stop supporting terrorists. That’s our opinion on the issue. This is the essence of the refugee issue,” said the President of Syria.

Taking the opportunity, Assad addressed all forces to come together in the fight against terrorism since that is the path to take in order to achieve the political goals that the Syrians have set, and those goals must be achieved through dialogue and political processes.
