Francois Hollande grants France’s highest award to Mark Mugalyan

President of France Francois Hollande has granted France’s highest award, that is, the Fourth Degree of Courage Award to Professor of the University of Sorbonne Mark Mugalyan, who was the first to try to stop the terrorist on the Paris-Brussels train on 21 August.

This is what press secretary of the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Tigran Balayan posted on his Twitter page. Mark Mugalyan, 51, was the first to try to stop Ayub El Ghazani, who was armed with a gun during the incident that took place in August. Mugalyan tried to disarm the terrorist and take the gun from him.
