Armenia soldier shot by Azerbaijan taken to Yerevan

Military serviceman Garnik Lalayan, who was wounded as a result of the shots fired by the adversary on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, is transferred to the Ministry of Defense Central Clinical Military Hospital in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.
Hospital Director Aram Asaturyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the soldier is in the intensive care unit, and he is in serious but stable condition, with a positive trend.
Three civilians and one military serviceman were wounded Thursday evening in the Tavush Province, and as a result of shooting by Azerbaijan.
The situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is tense since Tuesday. Azerbaijan fires shots at the Armenian border villages, on a regular basis.
