Team Armenia won solely a bronze medal at the European Boxing Championships that wrapped up in Samokov, Bulgaria.

Aram Avagyan went on the medal podium of the 56kg competition.

In addition, Team Armenia booked two spots in the World Championships that will be held in October in Doha, the capital city of Qatar.

Avagyan and Koryun Soghomonyan (52kg) achieved these two qualifications.
