Delegation of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin participated in enthronement of newly elected Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church

The ceremony of enthronement of the newly elected Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church, His Beatitude Krikor-Bedros XI Kaproyan was held at Zmmar monastery on August 9. By blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, among the participants were Head of the International Relations and Protocol Department, His Grace, Father Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan and leader of the Armenian Diocese of Damascus, His Grace, Father Bishop Armash Nalbandian.
At the end of the Holy Mass, His Holiness Nathan transmitted the greetings and good wishes of the Catholicos of All Armenians to the newly elected Patriarch and the Catholicos’s congratulatory message on the Patriarch’s election.
“With a prayer to God and with satisfaction from the sacred center of all Armenians, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin we express our joy and support to you on being elected the Patriarch of Catholic Armenians of the House of Cilicia. With your kind and cherished service, you have always served the Lord and been His unwavering pastor, as a teacher, as a pastor and as a faithful leader of the Armenian Catholic community of France. In front of the Holy Altar of Etchmiadzin, Our Wish is to have the Lord protect you and your clergymen. We bring our blessings and express our congratulatory remarks to all the clergymen and faithful of the Armenian Catholic Community who, thanks to the Holy Spirit, trusted you to be the leader of the Catholic Armenians,” as stated in the congratulatory message of the Supreme Patriarch.
