Syrian troops approach Palmira

Syrian troops are battling in the western suburb of Palmira, which was taken under the control of DAESH in mid-May, writes Ria-Novosti, reports armradio.am.

The army has taken the area near the school under its control. One of the DAESH headquarters was located in that area. The troops have destroyed several military devices and killed 10 soldiers while liberating the school.

Syrian military air troops continue air attacks against DAISH’s camps and passing points at the line of Palmira city, its outskirts and near the gas mine in Homs.
