OSCE conducts monitoring in direction of Martuni

On July 8, according to an agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission conducted a planned monitoring in the direction of Martuni on the Line of Contact of the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
According to the Department of Information of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the monitoring from the positions of the NKR Defense Army was conducted by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Kristo Kristov (Bulgaria) and Irzhi Aberle (the Czech Republic).
The monitoring from the opposite side of the Line of Contact was conducted by field assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Evgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and employee of the Yerevan Office of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden).
The monitoring was conducted according to plan. No ceasefire violations were recorded.
The observatory mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
