Newmag.com writes: Azerbaijan Television has uploaded the video of the handing of awards to the winning boxers at the European Games showing how President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev presents Armenian boxer Gevorg Manukyan with a medal.

The audience, which always used to whistle when receiving athletes with the “yan” last name, started whistling again, but President Aliyev silenced the crowd with a gesture, amazing the audience. Now the Azerbaijanis are in frenzy over this video.

Let us mention that the Armenian athlete was representing the Ukraine at the European Games and scored the silver medal in the 91 kg weight category.
