At the initiative and under the leadership of RA Honorary Consul in the German state of Hessen Brian Steven Fera, a football team comprised of the mayors of 12 cities of the Federal Republic of Germany has arrived in Yerevan and will be playing a friendly match with the team of Yerevan Municipality. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of Yerevan Municipality reports to “Armenpress”, the mayors, with the accompaniment of Deputy Mayor of Yerevan David Ohanyan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex where they paid tribute to the 1.5 million martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. The guests laid flowers near the eternal flame and visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute where they were introduced to documents and left notes in the register for guests of honor.
