Erdogan’s dream of being an elected sultan was buried: Turkish columnist

Columnist for Istanbul’s Agos Weekly Baskin Oran has given his evaluation of the parliamentary elections held in Turkey yesterday, writes yerkir.am.
Oran wrote: “The elections helped solve an important issue. Erdogan’s dream of being an elected sultan was buried. The Justice and Development Party saw what happens after so many violations of moral rights within and outside of the borders of the country.
These elections will be followed by the era when not only the JDP, but also other political parties will show how much they can master democracy. No matter what, this country is going to be more developed than Erdogan’s regime, which is trying to make the country go back even before the 1950s.”
