Union of Armenians in Ukraine takes part in Podol Peoples’ Culture Festival

Podol Peoples’ Culture Festival took place in the framework of Kyiv City Day Celebration. The residents of the legendary Kyiv region Podol are proud of their uniqueness. From times of Kievan Rus’ till our days representatives of different nations live and work here together with the Ukrainians. The fantastic amalgam of cultures, traditions and customs has made Podol the way it is liked all over the world – noisy, multilingual, diverse and very hospitable, according to News.am Ua-report reports.

Armenian cultural traditions were presented by the works of the icon-painter Hakob Tsovikyan, master class in chess by the sports section of the Union of Armenians in Ukraine (UAU), as well as interesting and talented works of the students of the Children’s Art Studio by the UAU.

The festival was held with the participation of the Union of Armenians in Ukraine, German Council of Ukraine, Shalom Aleichem’s Museum, etc.
