Brazilian football player having recognized the Armenian Genocide might be transferred to Turkish Galatasaray

Right defender of the Brazilian national football team and the Spanish (Catalonian) Barcelona team Dani Alves might be transferred to the football team of Galatasaray.

Ermenihaber.am writes that, according to the Turkish tarafsizbolge, citing Spanish presses, mentions that one of the representatives of Galatasaray met with Alves’s agents and negotiated over details about his possible transfer. It is mentioned that Alves will receive 4-4.5 mln Euros.

The agent also emphasized that Alves would make his final decision after the final stage of the League of Champions since that’s when his contract with Barcelona expires.

Let us mention that Barcelona will face off against the Italian Juventus in the final of the League of Champions on the Olympic Field of Berlin.

Let us add that on 24 April, Dani Alves posted a photo of him holding a sign reading “Recognize the Armenian Genocide!” However, after a while, Alvez apologized to his Turkish fans on his Facebook page for the photo that was taken on April 24.

“I want to apologize a million times to my Turkish fans. I would never think that that photo would cause you pain.”
