Armenian and Moldovan FMs meet
RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia German in Kishnev on July 12th.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the steps to be taken for implementation of the agreements reached during the RA President’s July 11 meetings with the President and Prime Minister of Moldova in Kishnev, which will provide the opportunity to bring a new sweep to the Armenian-Moldovan cooperation.
The ministers touched upon issues related to the expansion of the juridical-contractual field between the two countries, the development of cooperation within international organizations, the conduct of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, the strengthening of trade and economic relations, as well as the reinforcement of humanitarian and cultural exchanges.
Ministers Nalbandyan and German also visited the Armenian Church in Kishnev where they had a meeting with members of the Armenian community of Moldova. Minister Nalbandyan expressed gratitude to Moldova’s authorities for their generous support to the Armenian community.
In her turn, Minister German praised the role of the centuries-old Moldovan-Armenian community in the life of the country. The members of the Armenian community presented their issues of concern and exchanged views on the routes for solving those issues.
Minister Nalbandyan invited his Moldovan counterpart to visit Armenia, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.
