U.S. Vice-President to join Serzh Sargsyan in paying tribute to Armenian Genocide victims

On May 7, U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden will join RA President Serzh Sargsyan in the inter-religious prayer devoted to the Armenian Genocide at the Washington National Cathedral. RA President Serzh Sargsyan is on a working visit to the United States of America.

The press service of U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden told NEWS.am’s correspondent that “the Vice-President will be attending the ceremony for the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the elimination of the Armenian people in 1915.”

In the U.S. the position of U.S. Vice-President is considered the second position in terms of its significance.
