Aram Khachaturian’s works broadcasted on Dutch radio stations

On August 22, a record-setting number of radio stations broadcasted the songs by Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian. Recently different radio stations of the Netherlands have been playing Aram Khachaturian’s songs on the radio. The radio stations also present information about the great composer and his works, as well as chronological data. For instance, discover classical radio station played a part from the Spartak ballet performed by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, and a part from the Gayane ballet has been played on the first radio channel for a long time. Radio 3 has also broadcasted the works of Aram Khachaturian, and classic FM has broadcasted the talented composer’s Masquerade performed by the Armenian Philharmonic (under the direction of Loris Tchgnavorian) and a part from the Spartak ballet performed by the Grand Theater of Moscow. On that day, other international radio stations also broadcasted the works of Aram Khachaturian. Particularly, New York’s Public Radio broadcast 4 songs. BBC Music Classical joined the action and added the famous works of the world renowned Armenian composer to its program and included an extensive article on the composer on the radio’s website.
