On Apr. 16, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan received Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for Conflicts Angelo Gnaedinger.

Minister Nalbandyan and Special Representative Gnaedinger touched upon the preparations for the upcoming visit of President of the Swiss Confederation, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Didier Burkhalter to Armenia.

The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue within the scope of the Swiss chairmanship of the OSCE and the dynamics of the development of multilateral partnership.

Edward Nalbandyan and Angelo Gnaedinger exchanged views on the issues on the OSCE’s agenda and the initiatives of the Swiss chairmanship.

Minister Nalbandyan presented Armenia’s and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ efforts for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In this context, Angelo Gnaedinger reaffirmed the OSCE Swiss chairmanship’s full support to the efforts of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on regional and international issues, particularly the efforts being made to solve the crisis in Ukraine, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.
