On January 22, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan received Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ambassador Herman Schaper.

Greeting the guest, Minister Nalbandyan recalled his meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Franz Timmermans in May 2013 and the talks related to the steps to be taken for the deepening of bilateral relations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Schaper transmitted the greetings of the Netherlands’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Franz Timmermans and reaffirmed his country’s interest in developing relations with Armenia.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the partnership between the two countries in different areas, discussed cooperation within international organizations and attached importance to the endorsement of each other’s nominations.

Edward Nalbandyan asked his Dutch counterpart to transmit his good wishes and the invitation to visit Armenia, reports the RA MFA press office.
