On June 14, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a two-day working visit to Moscow, paid a visit to the Armenian church in Moscow. With the accompaniment of Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan, His Holiness Yezras and the clergy, the guests visited the Holy Glorification Mother Cathedral, lit candles and prayed for world peace and the welfare of the Mother Homeland. As reported the press divan of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan to Hayern Aysor, the guests also paid a visit to the Ark Museum operating under the auspices of the church. The diocesan leader presented the paintings of remarkable Armenian painters Hovhannes Aivazovsky, Martiros Saryan, Gevorg Bashinjaghyan, Minas and others, the sacred relics of the church, cross-stones and the parchment Holy Books that are kept with care at the museum as cultural and spiritual treasures of global significance.

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan viewed and tested the Armenological books shown through computers. The guests also visited the Saint Gregory of Narek School located near the church complex. His Holiness Yezras presented the goals of the already furnished school designed for nearly 200 schoolchildren and stated that the school year will begin in the fall of 2018 as continuity of the best traditions of the once highly reputable Lazaryan College to shape the national spirit.

The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction to His Holiness Yezras with the creation of an educational center in Moscow and suggested that the school’s administration cooperate with Armenia’s educational institutions and share knowledge and experiences.
