“The Natural Colors of Independence” exhibition-sale

On June 5, 2018, the State Museum of Nature of Armenia in Yerevan launched the “Colors of Nature” event through which the Armenian Miniature Art Center is presenting an exhibition entitled “The Natural Colors of Independence”.
The title of the exhibition was not chosen by chance. It is symbolic, and the spiritual meaning is the following:
“We find that the Armenian people regained their independence 100 years ago, which is characteristic of nature and the universe…
Nature is independent, and so is the universe…
WE ARMENIANS are independent, by our nature and in terms of content, just like the universe, just like the nature surrounding us, with which the colors of our essence, our music, our sculptures and engineering, our language and our alphabet are identified…
The universe is changeable, just like the lives of mankind…
Sometimes there are natural fires, sometimes planets collide, sometimes there are horrible and devastating earthquakes, sometimes forests burn…During such incidents, nature seems to die and seems to cease to exist…
This is how our history, that is, the history of the ARMENIAN people is like as well.
It has been burnt, fires have broken out, it has been in an earthquake, clashed and dispersed, but it has been born again and again, just like the stars are born again and again…”
Through the event, the gallery of the State Museum of Nature of Armenia features the main book of our center, that is, THE REGISTER OF THE ALPHABET, which will be available for Armenian children living in 70 countries and starting to draw the letters of the Armenian alphabet every year…
This miniature art booklet is a real illustration of the sounds of nature. You simply have to see it, receive it and enjoy…
The Center also has other exclusive works that serve as wonderful samples of artistic thinking.”
During the 10-day exhibition, you can view a MINIATURE ART POSTCARD featuring reproductions of the works of 15th-17th-century Armenian miniature painters devoted to the most difficult, most perfect and enigmatic topics in Christian culture such as the miniature paintings of the CROSSES OF THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST, which are wonderful works of batika.
The letters of Armenian miniature painting are the real reshaping of nature in the form and with the charm of animals, birds, jewels and humans.
For more information about the exhibited works, you can contact the programs’ directors during the exhibition or the Center later. The Center is ready to listen to and consider any recommendation.
