RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received President of the Portugal-Armenia Friendship Association Vahe Mkhitaryan.

The Minister cordially greeted the guest, expressed her satisfaction with the activities of the small, yet active and enterprising community and attached importance to the community’s efforts aimed at enhancing the relations between Armenia and Portugal.

Minister Hranush Hakobyan urged the guest to present Armenia as a touristic country and foster mutual recognition of the two nations.

Vahe Mkhitaryan expressed gratitude for the cordial reception, stating that the Association was established a year ago, is mainly culturally oriented and actively collaborates with the Ministry of Diaspora.

The Association will soon be hosting an Armenian Culture Week in Portugal and is preparing for the events.
