Nora Arisian: “Iranian-Armenians are proud to live in Iran”

Iranian-Armenians are proud to live in Iran. This is what Armenian Member of the Parliament of Syria Nora Arisian said in an interview with Tasnim News Agency during a festive ceremony organized in Damascus on the occasion of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
She stated that all Armenians take pride in the presence of Armenians in Iran.
“As a Syrian-Armenian, allow me to state that I take pride in the major role that the Iranian-Armenians have played in Iran. I feel the same way about Armenia and Diaspora Armenians. Iran is exceptionally tolerant, and that is why Armenian schools, churches and presses operate actively across the country. We all take pride in that,” Nora Arisian particularly emphasized, reported Alik Daily.
Touching upon the event held in Damascus on the occasion of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Syrian-Armenian Member of Parliament said the following: “The victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran is a national celebration and a reason to be proud. The fact that the celebration is being held in central Damascus and that it has gathered this many public, political and cultural figures goes to show how important the celebration is. I believe this celebration is very important for patriots who know the history of Iran well.”
