On October 26, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received media and information correspondent of the Armenian Youth Association of Lebanon Aharon Shkhrdmian, who was one of the participants of the 8^th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists.

Greeting the guest, Minister Hranush Hakobyan appreciated the pro-national activities of Shkrdmian the journalist and the public figure, including his efforts aimed at preserving the Armenian identity and language.

Aharon Shkhrdmian attached importance to the 8^th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists, expressed satisfaction with the events and meetings that were organized within the scope of the forum and stressed the fact that the professional contacts, meetings and exchange of experiences were very important and necessary. “We Armenians need to be unified so that we can preserve our identity and language abroad and help Armenia and Artsakh,” he stated.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the current challenges facing the Armenian nation, that is, the development of Armenia’s economy, the Artsakh issue and the issues of Syrian-Armenians. They also discussed issues related to future cooperation and indicated the actions to be taken in that direction.
