Event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia held in Poland’s Vrotslav
On September 24, a festive event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia was held in the hall of the Dominicans Church adjacent to the Armenian Grove in the Polish city of Vrotslav, as reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Hayern Aysor.
In his speech, RA Ambassador to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan congratulated the attendees on the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia, touching upon the symbol and significance of the holiday and presenting the achievements that the Republic of Armenia has made throughout the years of independence.
Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Support to International Cooperation of the Municipality of Vrotslav Sebastian Lorents, Father Marek Milavitsky of the Dominicans Church, President of the Union of Armeniasn of Poland in Vrotslav Adam Damanashevich and other high-ranking guests participated in and gave speeches at the event. Among other attendees were representatives of national minorities, as well as members of the Armenian communities of Vroslav and nearby settlements.
The official part of the event was followed by an Armenian classical music concert.
