The Olympic boxing tournament continues in the Turkish city of Samsun. In spite of warnings from security officers, the members of Armenia’s boxing team are wearing uniforms reading Armenian Boxing Team and are approaching the ring with their coaches.

As reported the press service of the Armenian Boxing Federation, most of the members of the team have experience in participating in tournaments in Turkey and Azerbaijan and such pressures shouldn’t create any obstacle for the Armenian athletes who will be able to continue the struggle with the same spirit.

Let us remind that four representatives of Armenia will enter the ring today, and three of them will be having their first duels. Aram Avagyan (56 kg weight category) will start with a duel with German boxer El-Hag Omar. Vladimir Margaryan (69 kg weight category) will compete with Bulgarian boxer Simeon Chamov. Arman Hovhikyan’s (75 kg weight category) second duel will be with Hungarian boxer Zoltan Harchsa, and Nikol Arutyunov (81 kg weight category) will start his duels with a duel with Slovak boxer Matus Strinskoy.
