On March 14, representatives of the three Armenian community organizations of Aleppo selected the candidates to represent the Armenian community of Aleppo in the Syrian parliamentary elections as a unified statement following a joint consultation, reports Aleppo’s Kantsasar Weekly, according to Hayern Aysor.

After nominating the candidates, the three Armenian organizations of Aleppo had a meeting with leader of the Armenian Diocese of Aleppo, Archbishop Shahan Sarkisian and received his blessing for the candidates.

The following are the seven candidates elected by the Armenian community of Aleppo:

Dzeroun Gahvedjian

Harout Yordegian

Shaheh Minasian
