Citing Turkish media, BBC reports that a car exploded near the police headquarters of Diyarbakir, killing at least 5. Nearly 36 people have received injuries of various degrees. The explosion was so powerful that it also damaged the buildings nearby.

According to Panorama.am, it is assumed that there had been an explosive device in the car.
