NA passes draft law providing taxing privileges for residents of Berd and Tchambarak villages
The Berd and Tchambarak municipal communities will also be included in the list of communities benefiting from taxing privileges granted to bordering rural communities. The National Assembly adopted today the draft of the relevant law by the first reading.
As reports “Armenpress”, 103 Members of Parliament voted “for” the draft of the law on making amendments and supplements to the Law “On the taxing privileges granted to bordering rural communities”. No MP voted “against” or abstained from voting. The draft law proposes to create opportunities for economic entities carrying out production activity in bordering villages to carry out activities by their own will in the field of levying in accordance with value added tax, rejecting the privileges defined by law. This is mainly being done for those who import raw material from other countries to organize production.
If the economic entity rejects the proposals, it must include the value added tax and codify it in the value of the product, and the buyer must pay the extra value added tax, making the given product non-competitive.
