Ancient citadel of Erbil saved from ISIS (video)

Kurdish soldiers stopped the elimination by ISIS of the ancient fortress of Erbil located in northern Iraq, reports Tert.am.
However, the Jihads are now threatening to eliminate this monument. The authorities are reducing expenses for the renovation and maintenance of the fortress due to the expenses for the military campaign against them, writes BBC Russia.
BBC journalist Ahmet Maher has managed to enter the inside of the ancient fortress.
On October 5, it was reported that ISIS had eliminated the Triumphal Arch in Palmira, Syria.
