First alumni of Cilician School will be continuing their studies at high schools or colleges in Yerevan

Final exams for the 2012-13 academic year are being held from the 5th to the 22nd of June at all primary schools under Yerevan Municipality subordination, and the Cilician School for Syrian-Armenians is no exception.
Thirty eight Syrian-Armenian students have already graduated from the Cilician School, which is based at school N 14 under Yerevan Municipality subordination and was established with the support of Yerevan Municipality, the RA Ministries of Education and Science and Diaspora and under the patronage of the Cilician benevolent union.
As reported by the Department of Information and Public Relations at Yerevan Municipality, the English language exam is still at the top with the highest indicator in terms of quality and progress (100 percent), followed by the results of the Armenian language exam (100 percent progress, 93 percent quality of education) and the quality of Arabic language instruction (70 percent). The Syrian-Armenians have shown progress above average in the natural and exact sciences.
Summing up the academic year, the School’s Principal Nora Pilibbosian mentioned that students have shown 100 percent progress and that the quality of education is 86.2 percent. The exams for History of Christianity and French Language will be held on the last days of the exam period. The principal also emphasized that all the alumni will be continuing their studies at high schools or colleges in Yerevan.
