Ashot Ghulyan meets Congressman Brad Sharman and Congresswoman Anna Eshew

On December 3, Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan had a meeting with Congressman Brad Sherman and Congresswoman Anna Eshoo in Congress.
As reported by the NKR NA press service, during the meetings, the sides discussed issues related to Artsakh on the agenda of the Armenian Caucus and indicated the directions for future cooperation. At the request of the congressmen, Artsakh’s parliamentary speaker presented the developments that have been unfolding in the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakhi conflict over the past months and the current issues.
Ashot Ghulyan expressed gratitude to Congressman Sherman and Congresswoman Eshoo for their encouraging speeches and impartial evaluations at the event devoted to Artsakh’s independence yesterday. On the same day, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America hosted a reception in honor of the Speaker of the NKR National Assembly. Among the guests were representatives of diplomatic, as well as public and community organizations of Washington.
In his welcoming remarks, Artsakh’s parliamentary speaker recapped the achievements that have been made throughout the years of Artsakh’s independence and mentioned the need to resist the current challenges together. Ashot Ghulyan thanked Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America Tigran Sargsyan and the staff at the embassy for supporting the visit to the U.S., as well as to Armenian organizations based in Washington for their ongoing support and pro-national efforts.
