Catholicos Aram I leaves for the UAE

After the pontifical visit to Iran, His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos left for the United Arab Emirates.
The Supreme Patriarch had meetings with Catholic Vicar of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Father, Archimandrite Mesrop Sarkisian and representatives of the Diocese.
His Holiness visited the Holy Martyrs Church of Abu Dhabi, the construction of which is almost over. His Holiness praised the members of the community who are expanding the church service by providing “soul food” and conveying the air of the nation to Armenians living in the United Arab Emirates and in various cities of Qatar.
The Holy Martyrs Church will be consecrated by Catholicos Aram I on 11-12 December.
On the morning of October 15, His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos paid a two-week pontifical visit to Iran.
The Supreme Patriarch visited the parish churches and schools in Tehran and New Julfa and had meetings with the diocesan bodies and state officials.
