Damascus-Armenian officer of the Syrian army Sevag Eolmesekian (born in 1986) died on 25 May during military clashes near the military unit of Khan Shikhun district adjacent to the Syrian state of Idlib.

Eolmesekian had passed military service and was continuing to serve in various areas as a reserve soldier.

The funeral service for Eolmesekian will be held at St. Sargis Church in Damascus on Friday, June 27, 2014.
