Stepanakert to host aerial festival

On June 16, paraglides, a parachute and a plane will be in the air at the same time during an aerial festival to be held at the airport in Stepanakert.

This is what press secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures of the Republic of Artsakh Mary Ghazaryan told Artsakhpress, adding that the goal of the event is to develop the tourism sector in Artsakh, raise the level of awareness about the potential of light aviation in Artsakh and help organize the free leisure and interesting and healthy activities of the young people of Artsakh.

According to her, an aerial show featuring more than 6 planes and parachutes will kick off at 14:00, and starting from 17:30, attendees will have the chance to paraglide, sit in a parachute and fly in a tour plane in Artsakh.

“The event will feature music by well-known DJs. The concert will begin at 18:30, and the party will start at 21:00. Tickets cost AMD 2000 and will be available at the Tourism Information Center of Stepanakert starting tomorrow (in front of Armenia Hotel, 097 399 175) and at the office of Yell Extreme Park in Yerevan (Home of Moscow, 4th floor, 041 010 030). In addition, you can also order tickets online at tomsarkgh.am,” Ghazaryan said and added that Artsakh is hosting the festival for the second time.

Let us mention that the festival is organized by the Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures and the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Artsakh, as well as Yell Extreme Park, Skyball and SKY CLUB – Paragliding in Armenia.
