At the initiative of the Tufenkian Foundation, solar panels and batteries have been installed in several military positions on the border in order to nurture technical equipment.
This is what Assistant to the Executive Director of Tufenkian Foundation Medina Hovhannisyan told Artsakhpress, adding that the first consignment of solar panels was installed in March and systems are scheduled to be installed in another stage throughout the year.
According to Hovhannisyan, the goal is to support to the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh, and this will be ongoing.
“Tufenkian Foundation requested the production of solar systems from Armenia’s Arpi Solar Company, the solar systems of which are mobile, portable and quite powerful,” Hovhannisyan emphasized.
