Armenian company to establish Armath Engineering Laboratory in India

The Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) will establish an Armath Engineering Laboratory in India as well, reported the Union’s press service, as per the link provided by PanARMENIAN.Net.

The press release states that Armenia and India will sign the memorandum on establishment of the laboratory during the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2018) to be held on 18-22 February in India.

Since 2014, the UITE has been carrying out the Program for Introduction of Armath Engineering Laboratories in the General Education System of the Republic of Armenia. With the support of several supporting companies and the Government, there are nearly 197 Armath Engineering Laboratories operating across the Republic of Armenia and with nearly 5,000 schoolchildren enrolled.

Out of all the laboratories, 110 are equipped with 3D printers, computer numerical control (CNC), and the members of the clubs have studied and are studying 3D modeling. Knowledge of 3D modeling provides children with the opportunity to digitize drawings saved on hard drives as well.
