Many world famous talents were born in small Armenia-Kultura TV channel

The “By Foot” series of the Russian Kultura TV channel has prepared a show about Yerevan, presenting the city’s history, architecture, statues, monuments, museums and talents.

“Armenia is small, but many talents were born in Armenia. We know Armenian painters, actors and musicians. Architect Halabyan used to work in Moscow, Nalbandyan would paint pictures of leaders, clown Yengibarov would entertain people, and Kyosayan would produce films. Babajanyan and Khachaturian would compose music, and the creator of the statue of Khachaturian is Frangulyan,” this is how the creator and host of the show Mikhail Zhebrak starts his story. Zhebrak adds that an excursion devoted to “Great Armenians” can be held in not only Moscow, but also Paris, Tbilisi and San Francisco.

Strolling in Yerevan, the TV personality talks about Alexander Tamanyan, who designed the plan for Yerevan, tours the Cascade Complex and Republic Square and visits other sites worth seeing in Yerevan.

During the show “By Foot…Creative Yerevan”, Zhebrak also talks about the house-museums of Martiros Saryan and Sergey Parajanov. In the next show to be aired on the Rosia Kultura channel on 18 February, he will touch upon Christian Armenia, writes panarmenian.net.
