In Strasbourg President Serzh Sargsyan today participated in the solemn ceremony of dedicating the official commemorative gift – an Armenian cross-stone – to the Council of Europe on behalf of the President of the Republic of Armenia. The poster for the cross-stone was unveiled by President Serzh Sargsyan and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland. On this occasion, the President of the Republic and Jagland gave speeches. After the ceremony, the President of the Republic showed the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and Prime Minister of Denmark Lars Rasmusen the cross-stone placed in the yard of the Council of Europe located near the entrance.
