РусскийPresident Serzh Sargsyan receives USSR People’s Artist Iosif Kobzon
President Serzh Sargsyan received today First Vice-Chairman of the Commission on Cultural Affairs of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, People’s Artist of the USSR Iosif Kobzon, who is in Yerevan to participate in the charity concert entitled “Together” and dedicated to his 80th birth anniversary.
The President, who recently sent a congratulatory message to him on the occasion of his birthday, greeted the guest and, taking the opportunity, congratulated Kobzon once again and expressed his appreciation to the renowned artist.
President Serzh Sargsyan awarded Kobzon with a high state award (Order of Honor) for his notable contributions to the strengthening of the friendly ties between Russia and Armenia and the development of cultural relations between the two countries.
