To the family of Manuk Mkrtchyan, members of the Armenian community of the Netherlands,

We felt great pity when we learned about the premature death of Principal of the Armenian Sunday School of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Almelo Manuk Mkrtchyan.

Living far away from the homeland for years, he unconditionally dedicated himself to the Armenian nation and provided his services to solve many issues concerning Armenians, making his remarkable contributions to the preservation of the Armenian identity and to the development and strengthening of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership as well.

He was well-known and respected as a human being and as a skillful pedagogue whose pro-national and community services were acknowledged in Armenia, and for those services he received the honorary “Ambassador of the Mother Language” Medal of the Ministry of  Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.

The image and legacy of the kind and patriotic son of the Armenian nation will always be brilliant in the memories of those who knew him.

We express our deep condolences to the family, relatives, colleagues and close friends of Manuk Mkrtchyan and all Armenians of the Netherlands.
