CEC summarizes preliminary results of Yerevan election

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia summarized the preliminary results of May 14 Yerevan City Council election and prepared a protocol during the extraordinary session, reports Armenpress.
According to preliminary results, 354.158 out of 842.151 eligible voters participated in the election.
The number of ballots cast in favor of the ��?Yelk’ bloc is 70.731 or 21%. 26.109 people or 7.75% voted in favor of ��?Yerkir Tsirani’ party. 240.036 people or 71.25% voted in favor of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
8.259 ballots were declared invalid.
