The Defense Ministry of Nagorno Karabakh told “Armenpress” the Azerbaijani forces shelled 14 times from 82 mm mortars at the Armenian positions from their positions located at the southern direction (Horadiz) of the Nagorno KarabakhAzerbaijan line of contact.

The Ministry’s announcement reads:

“Overnight December 11-12 the Azerbaijani side shelled 14 times from 82 mm mortars at the Armenian positions from their positions located at the southern direction (Horadiz) of the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact. Overall, during that period, the Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime over 30 times across certain directions of the frontline by firing more than 400 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions. The Defense Army forces mainly refrained from taking countermeasures and took counter actions only in case of strict necessity. At this moment the situation along the entire length of the line of contact is relatively calm”.
