150-year-old Armenian church in Rostov Oblast returned to Armenian Diocese

The 150-year-old St. Mary’s Armenian Church in the Great Sala Armenian village of the Russian Rostov Oblast has been officially transferred to the Armenian Diocese of New Nakhichevan.

The role and significance of the church is especially important for the Armenian communities of the Diaspora that always face the danger of assimilation.
