On October 20, President of France Francois Hollande signed a decree on appointing a new Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, as reported on the official website of France. Stéphane Visconti has been appointed the France Co-Chair of the Minsk Group.

The current French Co-chair, Pierre Andrieu, was appointed in 2014.
