Between January and November 2015, compared to the same period of the previous year, production of rugs and carpets grew by 0.8%. As reports the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia, whereas 39.3 tons of rugs and carpets were produced in the Republic of Armenia between January and November 2014, Armenia saw a 39.6% growth in the same period of 2015.

As far as knitwear production is concerned, between January and November of 2015, Armenia produced 3,323.0 thousand pieces of knitwear, and between January and November of 2014-1,891.5 thousand pieces, growing by 75.7%.

According to the NSS, the production of socks and stockings grew by 55.7%. Whereas 6,785.9 pairs of socks and stockings were produced between January and November of 2015, 4,358.6 thousand pairs were produced in the same period of the previous year.

As reports the NSS, cotton textile production has dropped in the mentioned period. Whereas Armenia produced 10.8 tons of cotton textiles between January and November of 2014, it produced 7.3 tons in the same period of 2015, which is 32.4 percent less.
