Sergey Khachatryan to give concerts in the US and Spain

World famous violinist Sergey Khachatryan will give concerts in the US and Spain. This is what the well-known violinist mentioned during a press conference at the press conference hall of “Armenpress” News Agency.

“I’ll give three concerts with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, after which I’ll give concerts in Madrid. I’ll be performing Sibelius’s Concerto for the Violin,” Sergey Khachatryan mentioned.

As posted on the official website of Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (bsomusic.org), Sergey Khachatryan and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will give concerts on January 29th, 30th and 31st. Ocne.mcu.es adds that the concerts in Spain will be held on February 26th, 27th and 28th.

World famous violinist Sergey Khachatryan lives in Germany. He started playing the violin at the age of six and was a student of Professor Petros Haykazyan. Later, he continued his studies in Wurtzburg. At the age of 9, Khachatryan performed with a symphony orchestra as a soloist for the first time. Since he was a child, he has been giving solo concerts and concerts with symphony orchestras in nearly 50 countries around the world.

As a rule, he gives one or two concerts in Armenia every year. In 2013, Sergey Khachatryan received Credit Swiss Bank’s annual award for Best Young Musician of the World.
