Another Armenian school opened in the Diaspora thanks to the Ministry of Diaspora
An Armenian Sunday school has been operating in the German city of Kaiserslautern for the past three months already. The school is named “Luys” (Light) and has 15 students. It was opened thanks to the books that were provided to the local Armenian community through the Acquisition of Textbooks and Supporting Materials and Provision to Armenian Educational Institutions of the Diaspora Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
“It is my pleasure to inform you that, thanks to the textbooks and other materials sent from the Ministry of Diaspora, our Sunday school has been operating for the past three months already. After the end of the first academic year, I will also inform you about the results,” writes Principal of “Luys” Armenian Sunday School of Kaiserslautern Artur Harutyunyan, reports Hayern Aysor.
