On September 5  the conference “Die Gegenwart der Vergangenheit – 100 Jahre nach dem Genozid an den Armeniern” (The Presence of the Past – 100 Years After the Armenian Genocide), jointly organized by the Heinrich Boell Foundation and the German-Armenian Society, will be held at the headquarters of the Foundation, Schumannstrasse 8, 11017 Berlin.

Speakers at the conference are both scientists (Hans-Lukas Kieser, Ashot Hayruni, Fatma Muge Gocek, Vahe Tachjian, Wolfgang Gust, Alice von Bieberstein and others) and politicians (Claudia Roth, Vice-President of the German Bundestag, Peter Maiwald, Member of the German Bundestag).
