The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan will discuss the issue of China’s involvement in Iran­Armenia railroad construction with the Prime Minister of Chine in the near future. “Armenpress” reports that PM Hovik Abrahamyan mentioned about this during a meeting with the participants of “Baze” annual gathering.

“My visit to China will be paid in September during which I will discuss that issue with the Prime Minister of China. A political agreement was reached between the presidents of the two countries during the last meeting. Now we have to come to an economic agreement with the Chinese Prime Minister to solve some problems connected with the railroad”, Hovik Abrahamyan informed.

According to him, Iran­-Armenia railroad will be of great importance for our country by opening a route to Asian markets. “It will also give an opportunity to solve the problem of Armenian exports”, mentioned the PM.
