German Sterligov is inviting everyone to visit the NKR
Wealthy Russian entrepreneur German Sterligov, who is planning on settling in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic with his wife and five children, has told the truth about why he left Russia.
Artsakhpress writes that in an interview with REN TV in Stepanakert, Sterligov said the following: “I’ll tell the simple truth that not everyone might like, but it’s better than the groundless assumptions that people have been making about me and my family until now.”
The entrepreneur said he considered the place where he has decided to move a marvelous place.
“Nagorno-Karabakh is a marvelous land with wonderful people. Lucky are the Armenians who have such a homeland, such history and such beauties. I have traveled around the world and haven’t seen such a place anywhere. I haven’t seen such beauty, such fruitfulness and, most importantly, such kindness and cordial relations between people. There is no aggression here at all,” he said.
Moreover, Sterligov addressed citizens of Russia. “If there are Russians watching me now, it’s impossible to explain that to you. They’re not treating me well because I’m a guest, but because they treat each other cordially, meaning one has to be here.
I’m happy that I brought my children here because I had told them about how people should treat each other theoretically. Unfortunately, there are no such relations between people in Russia today, but those relations exist in Nagorno-Karabakh. They see it here, and it’s a wonderful lesson for them.”
After ending his sincere speech, Sterligov emphasized once again how unique Nagorno-Karabakh is for him. “So, come to Nagorno-Karabakh to understand what I’m talking about. This is a rare place in the world. It is an ancient reserve for human relations that the Armenian people have maintained,” Sterligov concluded.
Earlier, Sterligov had announced that he would be giving a press conference in Shushi on July 13, had invited everyone to participate in the press conference and had promised to answer everyone’s questions.
Press speaker of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hikmet Hajiyev recently announced that the ministry was preparing to include German Sterligov in the infamous “black list” as well.
